SF Music Day is a free, daylong music festival hosted in the center of San Francisco’s arts and culture district. Founded 15 years ago, this event celebrates the diverse Bay Area music community and invites local audiences to explore, savor, and experience live music performances at the historic San Francisco War Memorial and Performing Arts Center.
Each year, InterMusic SF presents SF Music Day, which features dozens of ensembles performing a staggering array of repertoire and styles. Thanks to support from InterMusic SF community partners, SF Music Day has grown and thrived and continues to be a central component of the SF Bay Area performing arts calendar. At InterMusic SF, we rely on generous donations and grant awards from foundations, corporate sponsors, and individuals to produce and present SF Music Day. This support enables InterMusic SF to fulfill its mission of advocating for a thriving musical community of those who create, share, and love the art of collaborative ensemble music.
