October 1-21, 2022 PROXY Fall Film Fest. Enjoy a movie under the stars in Hayes Valley, running every Friday night through October 21.
October 2, Piña: The Enduring Philippine Fabric. This exhibit provides an introduction to the history and production of piña fabric, a unique, translucent, handmade material woven from pineapple leaf fibers.
October 4, Civic Center Plaza Lunchtime Concert Series. Enjoy free lunchtime concerts in front of City Hall, featuring a rotation of blues, jazz, folk, and more – under the trees of Civic Center Plaza through October 27.
October 6, Music as Conversation. Vân-Ánh Võ presents "Resilience: Building Strength through Community Experiences," the second installment of two interactive performances at the Asian Art Museum.
