June 1, Bollywood Dance Classics Film Series. See four celebrated, rarely screened classics that laid the foundation for modern Bollywood at the Asian Art Museum.

June 1-25, Wizard of Oz. A.C.T. will present the beloved classic, directed by acclaimed theater artist John Doyle and featuring a talented cast and crew.

June 3, 11th Annual Northern California Soy and Tofu Festival. The 11th annual Northern California Soy and Tofu Festival returns to San Francisco’s Japantown Peace Plaza.

June 3, 6, 9, 18, 21, 24 + 27, Madame Butterfly. Music Director Eun Sun Kim conducts a new staging of Puccini’s heartbreaking drama from director Amon Miyamoto.

June 4, 10, 20, 23 + 28, Die Frau ohne Schatten. This bucket-list opera is a must-see for every opera lover!

June 7-18, 40th Annual San Francisco Jazz Festival. Established in 1983, this two week festival every June features over 40 concerts in 12 days at 3 venues in the Hayes Valley neighborhood.

June 8, Beyond Bollywood Dance Series. Celebrate Pride Month with innovative and progressive performers at the Asian Art Museum.

June 10, San Francisco Juneteenth Parade. Enjoy a vibrant day of rich culture through music, food, dance, poetry, skits, history, vendors and families.

June 11, Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon. Starts with a 1.5-mile swim from Alcatraz Island to the shores of San Francisco. It continues with an 18-mile bike ride and finishes with an 8-mile run through the city's hills.

June 13, 17, 22, 25 + 30, El último sueño de Frida y Diego. Journey through this bold world of desire and release in a pioneering new opera by composer Gabriela Lena Frank and playwright Nilo Cruz.

June 14, AASC Presents: Lines & Wine. African-American Shakespeare Company presents Wine & Lines, a night in celebration of Pride Month.

June 16, 100th Anniversary Concert and Dinner with the Artists. This once-in-a-century event features the SF Opera Orchestra and Chorus, music directors past and present and 15 of the greatest artists to grace the War Memorial Opera House stage.

June 17, Mighty Real. A Sketch Variety Show returns to the Bay Area as part of Queer Cultural Center's National Queer Arts Festival.

June 17, Emmaline LIVE in San Francisco. Join Emmaline on her FIRST EVER Acoustic Tour for an intimate evening of jazz and soul.

June 18, Rainbow Macramé & Sip. Celebrate the month of PRIDE at a fun hands on Macramé & Sip class where we will be making a rainbow macramé while enjoying some tasty refreshments.

June 18, Summer Solstice Ceremonial Bazaar. At the Summer Solstice Holistic Market, you can expect to find a wide range of offerings related to holistic health, spirituality, and wellness.

June 18-August 20, Stern Grove Festival. This free outdoor concert series has happened since 1938. The festival is on Sunday afternoons at 2 pm.

June 21, Make Music Day: Civic Center. Make Music Day returns June 21, featuring free performances around the globe, across the country, and even here in San Francisco's Civic Center.

June 21, A Crosstown Solstice Walk. This event is one of a series of walks to celebrate the fourth anniversary of the San Francisco Crosstown Trail in June.

June 22, International Pride Orchestra Concert. The International Pride Orchestra makes its debut with host Peaches Christ and soprano Breanna Sinclairé.

June 24-25, San Francisco Pride. The Pride Celebration will be June 24th and 25th. The Pride Parade will be on on June 25th, going down Market Street from Embarcadero to the Celebration at Civic Center.

June 25, San Francisco Pride Don Julio Latin Stage + Party Info. Corner of Mccalister & Van Ness Streets at the Latin Stage.

June 25, Above It All: Pride 2023 Viewing Party & Rooftop Celebration. Be 'Above It All' this year for the 2nd Annual Pride Viewing Party happening at Charmaine's overlooking Market Street

June 25, Love & La Bande. Love & La Bande Pride celebration located at 1100 Market Street.

Sundays and Wednesdays, Heart of the City Farmers Market. A well loved Farmers Market happening in UN Plaza since 1981.

Zumba in Civic Center. Zumba instructor Matt Ziegler leads classes in Civic Center Plaza (weather permitting) with SF Rec & Parks Zumba in the Parks. The class is for all ages and skill levels; meet on the paved portion of the plaza adjacent to City Hall. See the schedule here.
