September 1, Chuseok Celebration and Family Storytelling. Join the Asian Art Museum as they celebrate Chuseok, Korea’s harvest festival, with exciting activities for Free First Sunday.
September 1, California Rum Festival. Taste some of the best rums around at the SOMARTS Art Gallery. You'll get to try a wonderful variety from large, micro, and boutique distilleries.

September 10, Civic Center Nolli Walk: Past, Present, and Future. Enjoy a fast-paced, indoor-outdoor exploration of Civic Center architecture and plazas. September 12, 7x7 & Mr. Tipple's Present: Le Jazz Hot. Direct from San Francisco's Civic Center, Mr. Tipple's Recording Studio brings the act on the road for two special sets at 7x7 Social Club featuring Le Jazz Hot Quartet. Enjoy a jazzy evening with a cocktail trio tasting at the foot of the Transamerica Pyramid, which celebrates its official reopening.

September 19, Woman Unveiling and Community Celebration. Celebrate the installation of Portrait of a Phenomenal Woman, a new monument honoring Dr. Maya Angelou.
